Balconies and outside entrances in many cases can be used to access up to a third floor.

We do have the proper spot treatments for most rust spots, however due to certain circumstances, rust stains are not guaranteed to be removed.
  • Do you remove spots/spills?
Removing spots/spills will depend on many things. What caused it? How old is it? What products have you used on it? Has the padding below the carpet been affected by it? Has the sub floor below the padding been affected by it? Carpet dries from the bottom up. If the spot/spill is below the carpet and in padding/sub floor there is a very high chance that the spot/spill will wick back up in affected area during the drying process. There is no way to guarantee this will not happen.

Our process. With our process, our goal is to leave the fibers or the carpet, rug or upholstery free and clear of dirt, pet dander and any other contaminates. We do not rely on an added chemical to the fibers that have just been cleaned and stripped of contaminates. • Why would a spot come back?
If an area of concern “wicks” back after the service it is because the padding and possibly the subfloor below the carpet has been affected by the accident. Unfortunately, if this is the case the only way to ensure that the spot does not come back is to remove the carpet and access the damage.
  • What is the difference between a stain and discoloration?
A stain on fabric or carpet if treated properly, thoroughly extracted, and rinsed can potentially come out. A discoloration in most cases is permanent. If something has permanently discolored fibers, cleaning will not restore the original color.
  • My pet had an accident on the sofa, can you get the smell out?
Its possible, however unfortunately, there is no guarantee for the removal of smells. Upholstered items; couches, chairs, loveseats, ottomans are manufactured with thin fabric wrapped and sewn around thick 3-6 inch padding. When there are liquid accidents on the cushion, it can act as a sponge and saturate the area completely. Our high-heat extraction method is designed to only penetrate about ¾ of an inch into and around the cushion.
  • Do I need to vacuum?
We do not require you to pre-vacuum before we arrive; however, it is helpful. We only ask that the service areas are clear of items and debris. We recommend vacuuming 2-3 times per week to help slow the wear that dirt and traffic causes over time.

  • Should I have new carpet cleaned before using it?
Typically, carpet is housed in warehouses for long periods of time before they are purchased and can collect dust, dirt and other contaminates. We always suggest having new carpet cleaned after installation to remove anything that could be attached to the fibers.
  • Why is the carpet by my base boards darker?
This is typically a sign of “air filtration”. This is a sign of a dirty hvac system, meaning that the carpet is filtering the air coming through the floor vents and dirt is building up under the carpet near the baseboards. In many cases, this can be a permanent discoloration on your carpet if not addressed in a timely manner.

We estimate 4-6 hours for the carpet to feel dry to the touch and 24 hours for the carpet to be completely dry. To help speed the process you could use a fan or a ceiling fan.
  • Do I need to stay off the areas and furniture while they are drying?
You can walk or sit on the areas immediately this will not have a negative impact on the finished product. We would recommend clean shoes, feet or slippers, new dirt will stick to the fibers as they dry. Overall, we recommend that you try to stay off as much as possible, but we also understand that you live in the home.
  • How often should I have my carpet cleaned?
You can have the carpets cleaned as frequently as you would like. How often will depend on the amount of traffic in the home. Generally, we suggest cleaning with the changing of the seasons.
  • Should I keep my pets off the areas while drying?
We understand the stress that a home disrupted can have on pets and how difficult it can be to keep pets off the areas or furniture while drying. However, it would be best to try and keep pets off if possible. Animals with fur have oils that can negatively impact the result after the drying process.
